  • Initially, we experimented with these more budget-friendly pom pom makers. While functional, they didn’t quite meet our expectations for efficiency and ease of use.
  • After a short trial, we quickly upgraded to these superior pom pom makers. Trust me, the slightly higher investment is absolutely worth it for the improved functionality and professional-looking results. We purchased both the medium and large sets, utilizing all four sizes to create a diverse collection of pom poms for our wreath.
• Scissors: A sharp pair of craft scissors is essential for cutting yarn and trimming your pom poms to perfection.
• Straight pins or T-pins: You will need pins that are at least 2 inches long, or ideally longer. Shorter pins may not adequately secure larger pom poms to the foam wreath form, especially as the wreath becomes fuller.
• 2-inch ribbon: Select a ribbon that complements your chosen yarn colors, as this will be used for hanging your finished wreath. A sturdy, wider ribbon will provide a secure and elegant display.

Before filling in the very last section of your wreath form—typically about 2 inches of bare space—take a moment to secure your hanging ribbon.
