We’ve successfully installed tile stickers three times, consistently achieving quick and easy transformations. These stickers work beautifully on smooth surfaces like ceramic and porcelain tiles. However, I would not recommend them for textured natural stone tiles such as travertine or slate, as a smooth surface is crucial for proper adhesion. While they may not be ideal for very high-traffic areas, tile stickers are absolutely perfect for refreshing bathrooms, powder rooms, or accent walls.

We saved a significant amount of money by installing them ourselves, room by room, and we absolutely adored them.

While every flooring type has its pros and cons, our current home features real hardwoods that, despite their beauty, show scratches from our dogs’ toenails—an issue we never encountered with our old laminate floors. Believe it or not, I sometimes miss the practical resilience of our laminate floors!
